Another Bow Making Tool

I'd like to show you another kind of bow making on monday. For this you also need a tool.
I use a very simple one. Made of 3 wooden sticks. 2 are cut in the same length and one is shorter. Then the sticks are just held together with adhesive tape.
I prefer the textile version. In Germany it's called Lassoband. Unfortunately I haven't the slightest idea how it's called in english - sorry. I made a photo, so can see it better. It a VERY strong tape that holds the sticks perfectly.
There are other methods and tools. If you like to make a lot of bows, it could be convenient to have a wooden board with nails. But you have to cut the nails, so you can remove the bows from them. The board should be secured with clamps on a table.
But I'm lazy and make only a few ribbons at a time. So the simple version is just fine for me. And it's always handy and needs almost no place.

  1. That is a great idea, I imagined people who can make tiny, perfect bows are just not as fumble-fingered as I am, now I know the secret, thank you Andrea:)
