Crystal Ball in Dragon Claw

After painting the dinos on the piggy banks I thought, it would be great to have a dragon claw for a witch scene that holds a cristal bowl.  After some hours of thinking about the "how to", I gave it a try yesterday evening (and half the night...). I'm quite happy with the result and hope, you like it too. I'll have one for sale at the 1zu12 show.
And I added better pictures of the lamps in the last posts...

Easter Dinos

These are the 2 piggybanks I made for my youngest grandchildren as easter presents. They love Dinos and so I painted them on porcelain. I didn't finish them totally, so they could wish, how the background should look like and if I should paint their names on it. Now one piggy has a red snout and both had the names on the backside in green letters. Surprisingly they wanted no background colour. I'd have made them bright red - with green dots - or something like this....

Toadstool Lamp - finished

I have to thank all of you, who gave me such helpful comments on my lamp. Unfortunately I couldn't make a better picture, but I'll try it again tomorrow with daylight. There is absolutey no yellow in the lamp shade. I don't know, where this comes from. And perhaps I'll remember to put a cent in the picture - I forgot it AGAIN!

Lousy Picture of a Beautiful Lamp

It's such a pity. I couldn't get one decent picture of this lamp. It's shimmering in different red, orange, yellow and violett shades and it really looks beautiful, but you can't see it on this picture. I'll have one of these two for sale at the 1zu12 fair. Hope you can see it there..... It's Germanys best Miniature fair and really worth a visit.

Toadstool Lamp - and a question

 

Yesterday I started with the Toadstool Lamp. Something I wanted to make since years - and now I'm stuck.... shall I made flowers around the base, more grass or tiny toadstools. Perhaps you can help me with comments. That would be GREAT! Oh no! Again I forgot to place a cent in the picture. The lamp is 2,5cm high.

Cats & Dogs

The daughter of my husband will marry again in May and when I asked her, what she wanted as present, she said, she would be extremly happy, if I could paint her dog Fritzie - an adorable guy with one brown and one blue eye. This evening I started - but not for long. I had to rescue the painting after making the background, because two female cats thought, I spend enough time with d-o-g-s....  YUCK!!!

Now they are slepping on my right arm and impeding my project with "yuckie" dogs. You should have seen their faces, when I told them, that Fritzie has a very likeable and friendly character. Just as well I could have said, that fish smells delicious after 3 days under the sun.....  CATS!
