Bye, bye...

Today I just wanted to say bye! till middle of July. I'm really in need of a holiday and we'll be away for a minimum of 3 weeks. Very good friends of us will stay at our home for the time, so the cats have great catsitters.
This is the view we'll have for the next time. Isn't it wonderful? I packed one suitcase with books and some materials for miniatures (another, but smaller suitcase). Perhaps I'll be in the mood to work on some ideas I've got in the last days. But it would be also okay, if I'm just LAZY!
And before I go: THANKS A LOT for all the nice comments in the last days!
Have a wonderful time

Baking - Work in Progress

Unfortunately this picture is a little bit fuzzy, because it's an image detail, but I hope, you can see enough. In the flour bags are tiny wooden scoops and I made a little cutter for the ravioli.

Garden Bench and More...

I love the little chickadees that are hanging under the flowerpots. I don't know the word for "Meisenknödel". These are fatballs mixed with seeds - the perfect food for the birds in winter. Therefore the pots are snowcovered.Have a wonderful day

Miscelleanous 2

This toadstool bench was also a little display for my cushions, seed package boxes and other minis for the garden.Have a wonderful day

Miscellaneous

I decorated this cart with my cushions and other stuff. It's a nice display for my minis. And as you can see on the left side - I made rusty cans also in quarter scale. Have a wonderful day

Rusty Cans

These cans are printed and painted. The decor isn't applied with glue, so the making is a little bit more tricky because it has to be at the "right spot". The one with the pig (1 row, 2 from the right) is the only one that isn't rusty. It seems, that I used a better anti-rust protection...Have a wonderful day

Housework is Evil

As you can see, the witch doesn't like housework. There are much more important things in the world - like burning my parchment rolls.... To do the dusting doesn't exist in her vocabulary. Have a wonderful day

Parchment Scrolls 2

As you can see, my friendly witch had these parchments in her fingers too... When they have no roll, they look even worse! Some of them have burn holes, because she didn't t pay attention with the candles. Fortunately her cat put out the fire, but then has to be patched up, because of the blisters on her paws. I really shouldn't give her inflammable things.Have a wonderful day

Parchment Scrolls in a Roll

These are rolls - decorated with a tassel and filled with a scroll of "parchment". There are different motives in every roll. Unfortunately they were stored in the kitchen of a friendly witch, so the open fire and the candles yellowed the paper and she read the scrolls and wasn't very careful with them. Some of them are ripped a little bit. I shouldn't lend her materials for her studies, but she is such a nice one. I couldn't say no.
