Miniatures from Heinrike and Rainer
My friend Heinrike is busy working on miniatures for the show in Mannheim and sent me pictures. Heinrike and her husband are a perfect couple. Rainer makes the glassware and Heinrike the delicious content. We'll share a table and I know, I must have a lot of her fruits and vegetables for my kitchen!

Carts
This weekend I made some wooden carts. The little boy from Penny inspired me so much, that I'll make a lot of miniatures for children in the next time. Now I have to decide, which one I'll keep and which I'll take to the next show...I forgot to add a Euro cent..... again... The carts are 2,5 x 3cm.

Knitting Jenny
This weekend I've been as busy as a beaver. First I wanted to write "as a bee", but because I was turning wood, I think beaver is the mot juste....This Knitting Jenny costs me years of my live.. I was a woman on the verge of a nervous breakdown.
Now I'm thinking about making a box for her. Or shall I add wool??? What do you think?

My Treasures from the KDF - 5
And now my absolute favorite!
PENNY THOMSON makes the most beautiful paper maché characters. I wanted to have a little girl, but it was already sold, when I decided that I change my idea about the Toy House. Now I wanted to make a room for a little girl...... okay - only a wonderful quarter scale girl was left, but it must be half scale. What now.....Then I saw this little boy and felt in love. Now I'll make 2 adjoining rooms. One for the boy and one for a girl - Penny will make a little sister during the summer. I know, she'll be perfect.
Pennys work catches a moment and altough I thought I'd prefer dolls with real hair, her characters are so extremly lively - I don't miss a single hair. The little boy (I have to think about a name) is absorbed in playing with his plane and his room was immediately ready in my phantasy.
