Then I disabled the annoying questions for leaving a comment. I didn't know, that they were there, because I could leave a comment on my blog without seeing it.

And now I finally know, what  Ilona meant with the "huge" picture in one of her earlier posts. In my browser everything looks just right, but today my friend Heinrike told me the exact problem. Now I'll be able to avoid these oversized pictures.

Wednesday I'll close my ETSY shops for 2 weeks. I'll take the miniatures to the show in Apeldoorn. So if you 've cast an eye at one of them - this is perhaps the last chance to get it.

Miniature Toy Xylophone

 

When I was a child, I loved to beat on xylophones like this one. My poor parents!
Because I don't have so much to work before I go to Apeldoorn and I've already packed (nearly) everything I need for the show, I can spend the time making miniatures. What a life of luxury.

Miniature Toy Accordeon

In the moment I seem to be in my muscial mode. Some mondays are time off work and therefore I started last night my miniature accordeon. Another miniature I had on my mind for a long, long time -  and then I found an inspiration on Etsy that gave me the last impulse.
This time I made a short video, so you can see, that it is "really working". But I have to confess, that the noises are coming from the TV and not this "musical instrument".

Miniature Toy Piano No. 2

As you can see - my husband made dinner. So I could work on the second piano, which was originally the first on my mind.

Miniature Toy Piano

Finally I made the first of two old toy pianos. For years I had them on my mind and now they couldn't wait any longer to be "born". Only for photoshopping the old pictures I needed hours (6 hours last night for finding and editing the right pictures). Specially the piano, that is still in process took most of the time, but it is my favorite. Perhaps I can persuade my husband to make dinner tonight. Then I can show you the other one today too.I'll take them to the show in Apeldoorn. But when you're interested, I can reserve them on Etsy.

Good Luck Marzipan Box

These are my Good Luck Marzipan Boxes. I made one in half scale with a little marzipan pig, a fly agaric, a lady bug and a chimney sweeper. The XXS box in quarter scale has 2 pigs and 2 fly agarics.
They are not only a nice item for the candy store but also a nice present for a fellow miniaturist....

Farm Animals - Funny Cubes

Getting sidetracked again....
Since a long time friends asked me, if I could'nt do more in "Full Scale". And because I love Funny Cubes and I'm in my painting mood, I made these "Farm Animals Funny Cubes". But of course I also made them in very small (6mm and a little bit over 7mm for one cube).
And because I don't want to "bore" you with the Full Scale Projects that are going to come, I started a new blog. I'd be thrilled, if you'd like to visit me there.
