Spring in Berlin and a Question

Isn't it great. After months of Winter weather, spring finally arrived and everything is blooming and making up time for the 4 weeks delay of sunshine.
And now I ask for a favour. Could you please tell me, what your favorite scales are. Multiple answers are possible.

Interesting scales

I never thought about making miniatures in 1/48, but if there are some of you interested in, I'd like to take on a fresh challenge.
If you can't see the blog poll, it would be awfully nice, if you'd write  it in a comment.
1/12 - 1/24 - 1/48.
THANKS A LOT!
Have a wonderful day

  1. Hi Andrea, spring is arrived here too and all flowers and plants are flowering now at the same time. There is a lot to do in our garden, but I enjoy it so much after the cold and long winter :D!
I prefer of working in scale 1:12 and 1:24.

  2. What is that beautiful tree???? It's so lovely all dressed in pink! I love 1/12th scale because of the detail, things in drawers etc.

  3. Dear Susan,
these are flowering cherry trees. We have a street round the corner (a small one) and the lanes are separated by 2 rows of flowering cherry trees. It's just a pity, that the flowers are only there for a max. of 2 weeks. Than we have pink "snow". But it looks so wonderful and every year I have to take a picture of it.
    Have a wonderful weekend
    Andrea

  4. Hi, my favourite is 1:12 but I do like the swedish Lundby scale too, 1:16-18 and I just became a fan of 1:144 too =) Miniatures are so much fun, the scales doesn't matter that much, I just want it smaller than usual ;)
