Peacock from Irmgard

I have to show you what I had in the post yesterday!
When I was in Apeldoorn this year, I ordered a peacock from Irmgard Gritzan and she agreed, that she'd make him without painting his tail feathers, because I'd like to make this myself. I have the perfect colours and I can paint it perfect for the angle he'll stand in his scene. This was awfully kind of her. Isn't he a beauty, even if he isn't ready yet?

Don't look tooooo closely at my hand. I'm painting and couldn't scrub of everything without too much damage to my poor skin.... bleeding colours would have get a complete new meaning.
