Hi Ilona, thank you for your nice comment. Same with me. I loved to play with these bricks. And as the miniature bricks, my toy bricks looked "slightly used" after a short period of time:)) I love making toys that I know from my childhood and I think they were so much more beautiful than the modern plastic toys. But give our grandchildren the choise between them..... it's always the plastic stuff, that can be thrown away after a short time, because they're broken. So let us be happy, that we had a childhood with such wonderful toys and without computer and handy:)))))) Hugs, Andrea
Like Ilona....Me too! I had some of those wooden blocks and loved playing with them and sometimes I still come across a stray one when I am scouring the thrift stores. This is such a nice trip down memory lane. :))
This is nostalgia for me, I've played with those bricks in my childhood, Andrea :D!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful work!
