Vintage Lotto Game

I won the auction for this art nouveau Lotto Game (1st picture). It was in very bad condition and some plates were missing. The box was torn and I had very, very much to do, to make it in miniature. But the design is so nice and the pictures of the boards are beautiful. I made 5 of them and I won't make them again. So it's a limited addition. If I had made only one, it would be much to expensive.
Have a wonderful day

  1. What a lovely game! The little boards are adorable. I'm not familiar with this game as such but with all of the tiny tokens, it looks like a lot of fun.
    Would it be similar to the game of B I N G O ?

    1. Oh, Elizabeth - I'm not familiar with BINGO:) But I think it's a little bit similar. This game has the boards with pictures and numbers. Everyone has 1-4 boards and draw 1 token per round (blind). When it fits onto your board, you keep it and turn it with the letter on top. When it doesn't fit, you put it back into the box. The one who has all boards filled is the winner. The letters will show the name of the thing that is shown on the picture at the side. So it's a combination of letters and numbers. I think BINGO has rows of numbers, that have to be complete. Bilderlotto is a game to help children learn the alphabet and numbers. Sometimes there are Bilderlotto games were you have to do the maths:) You don't have one number written on the board, but 3x7 or 9+17..... and the tokens have the results. It was really fun when I was a child. This one is a really old game. But I want to make one that I know from my childhood. I just have to find it in 1:1 - and I can only make it for my scene because of the copyright.

    2. It is so funny about the games we played with when we were kids and never thought of saving them for when we grew up or that they would come to mean something even more to us as we got older.
I wish I had EVERY SINGLE BARBIE DOLL that I got for Christmas and Birthdays from the time I was 7 years old. They and their clothes would be worth a small fortune now. Who would have thought? :/
