In December, before I started with the toys, I painted the vases Rainer (Heinrikes husband) made for me. I sent him sizes and shapes I wanted a year ago and he made the glassware. They are perfect for my cabinet on the left side of my Bay Window. Hope you like it.Have a wonderful day
Oh, they are beautiful! The glass is fine and nicely shaped. And your painting is lovely, of course! It's so nice to see someone making progress on their miniatures - ha ha!
ReplyDeleteThe vases are outstanding! So small yet so perfect! The colours are so striking. When you have a minute, do you think you could show a photo of the window seat. Those cushions look gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteHa ha, Carol. I'd love to make progress (you are better in the moment with your Indecisive Roombox), but I don't have so much time in the moment. But at least I'm working on a full scale project...
ReplyDeleteLots of love to you both of you
Andrea
Thank you, Lucille.
ReplyDeleteThe weather in Berlin is awfull in the moment so I don't have good light for making pictures, but you can see them better on this post: http://andrea-thieck-miniatures.blogspot.de/2012/12/bay-window-cosy-version.html
Best wishes
Andrea
Oh my, this makes me want to get some plain glass mini's and go wild with some glass paint. It makes them so interesting!

Oh yes I like them very much! I love the tall Art Nouveau shapes and the ones which look to be Gallé inspired. I like the way you have displayed them, it sets them off so well. I know the weather has been awful for photography lately ( it is coming down in buckets here at the moment!), but I must say in this case I rather like the moody atmosphere of the photos!
ReplyDeleteHallo Andrea, das hast Du gut gemacht!
ReplyDeleteViele Grüße aus Bammental
The vases are fabulous and I like the way you have displayed them.
ReplyDeleteBye Faby
